A PE pipe enquiry is easier to compare when pipe duty, dimensions and connections are clearly defined. Begin with the project specification and keep water-supply and drainage requirements in separate groups.
Define the application first
Identify the conveyed medium, service conditions and installation environment. State any required water-contact approval or other project acceptance criteria. Do not assume that a material name or colour establishes the required suitability.
Use a consistent dimensional basis
| Item | Include in the enquiry |
|---|---|
| Pressure-water pipe | Outside diameter, wall thickness or SDR, required pressure class and material specification. |
| Drainage pipe | Inside or outside diameter basis, pipe construction, required stiffness classification and joint arrangement. |
| Fittings | Run and branch sizes, connection type and quantity per item. |
| Valves and transitions | Service requirement, connection sizes and interfaces with equipment or other materials. |
Specify the jointing and accessory scope
Record the jointing method required by the project. Include fittings, seals, flange adapters, valves and transition pieces where needed. Identify tools, installation services or testing as separate scope items rather than assuming that they are included with material supply.
Separate quantity units
List pipe by size and required supplied length, with total metres clearly shown. Count fittings and valves individually. Record spare components separately and connect each line to a drawing or BOQ reference.
Check the offered documents
Ask for the actual product datasheet and the reports or certificates required by the project. Confirm that the documents match the quoted product, dimensions and intended duty. Have the project reviewer resolve any alternative material or connection system before ordering.
Plan packing and delivery
Include the destination, required delivery sequence and handling constraints. Ask how pipe lengths and fitting cartons will be identified against the schedule. Record agreed packaging and delivery terms with the accepted quotation.
For broader pipe packages, see PE, PPR and PVC selection notes.
Discuss your material schedule
Browse PE / HDPE pipes and fittings or Request a Quote. Include the application, quantities, destination and required documents. Drawings and schedules can be sent to hzx@hzxtech.com.
Copy-and-fill enquiry template
Copy the template below into your email or enquiry. Replace each bracketed prompt with your details; brackets are placeholders, not product specifications. BOQ means Bill of Quantities (your material list), and RFQ means Request for Quotation. Write “To be confirmed” for anything you do not know yet. Send drawings or files separately by email if available.
