Low-Voltage Power Cables for Building Projects
Need help getting started? Share the cable type, approximate quantity and delivery destination. You can confirm the remaining specifications with our team.
HZX supports specification-led cable procurement for building and industrial projects. Use this page to organize a low-voltage cable enquiry, then compare the proposed product with the project specification and manufacturer datasheet.
Start with the electrical requirement
State the voltage designation, conductor material, core arrangement and cross-section for each circuit. Include the specified insulation, sheath, armour and fire-performance requirements. Keep the required standard and edition visible on the enquiry schedule.
Organize the cable schedule
| Item | Include in the enquiry |
|---|---|
| Circuit reference | Drawing revision and circuit or route identifier. |
| Cable construction | Required designation, voltage, conductor material, core sizes, insulation, sheath and armour. |
| Quantity | Metres by cable type, individual cut lengths and any spare allowance shown separately. |
| Installation and accessories | Route conditions, cable support, termination interfaces and accessory scope. |
| Delivery | Drum arrangement, handling constraints, destination and delivery stages. |
Use product references carefully
The catalogue includes VV, VV22 and NH-YJV reference configurations. A model designation or product photograph does not confirm every rating or construction detail. Ask for the offered datasheet and compare it with the approved cable schedule before ordering.
Keep fire-performance requirements specific
If the project calls for fire resistance, flame retardance, smoke performance or other tested characteristics, state the required classification and evidence. Avoid treating different test requirements as equivalent. The project technical reviewer should confirm the proposed product and report scope.
Coordinate the rest of the package
Identify cable trays, glands, lugs, joints and terminations as separate procurement items where required. State whether the quotation covers materials only or includes other agreed services. HZX’s engineering support can help organize drawings and quantities for review.
