HZX groups cable support products into cable ladder, perforated tray, enclosed trunking and wire mesh tray. Structural form is only one part of the specification. The project also needs a defined material, finish, loading basis, support arrangement and accessory schedule.
Distinguish the four forms
| Item | Include in the enquiry |
|---|---|
| Cable ladder | A structure with side rails and rungs. Identify route dimensions, loading requirements and support arrangement. |
| Perforated tray | A tray with perforations. Specify section dimensions, construction and the required accessories. |
| Enclosed trunking | A trough and cover arrangement. Specify covers, dividers, joints, access and any tested performance requirements. |
| Wire mesh tray | A basket-style wire structure. Specify dimensions, supports, joints and route fittings. |
Select material and finish separately
State the required material and surface treatment using the project specification. Describe the installation environment so the offered product can be reviewed appropriately. Do not assume that all products of one structural form have the same corrosion resistance, loading capability or electrical continuity.
Build the accessory schedule from the route
- Horizontal bends and changes of level.
- Tees, crosses, reducers and transitions.
- Joint components, covers and dividers.
- Hangers, brackets, supports and specified fixings.
Keep performance evidence explicit
Where a project requires load testing, fire performance, coating information or continuity evidence, identify the standard and acceptance documents in the RFQ. A product label or finish name should not be treated as proof of a tested system.
Make quotations comparable
Issue the same route drawing and schedule revision to each supplier. Require alternatives and exclusions to be listed separately. Check that the quotation includes the accessories and supports needed for the stated supply scope.
Use the illustrated cable tray family guide and electrical RFQ checklist to organize the enquiry.
Discuss your material schedule
Browse cable tray products or Request a Quote. Include the application, quantities, destination and required documents. Drawings and schedules can be sent to hzx@hzxtech.com.
Copy-and-fill enquiry template
Copy the template below into your email or enquiry. Replace each bracketed prompt with your details; brackets are placeholders, not product specifications. BOQ means Bill of Quantities (your material list), and RFQ means Request for Quotation. Write “To be confirmed” for anything you do not know yet. Send drawings or files separately by email if available.
